Simon Richards
Chief Executive Officer
An experienced CEO and chartered Chemical Engineer. Simon has over 25 years of energy and corporate development experience. Simon is passionate about leading XNG to build long term partnerships that safely and efficiently deliver customers’ energy needs through the energy revolution. Simon holds degrees in Chemical & Process Engineering and Process Safety & Loss Prevention.
Seth Berry
Chief Development Officer
Drawing on decades of legal practice and C/RNG projects delivery, Seth delivers high-levels of industry knowledge, expertise and sound guidance to XNG and its partners. He is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and Boston College School of Law.
Jeff Ciampa
Chief Operating Officer
Jeff has a proven track record of delivering safe compliant and reliable operations leadership in the energy, construction, and marine industries. He has extensive operational and logistics experience in transportation including road, rail and marine operations. He holds an M.B.A. from Franklin Pierce University, a B.S. from the United States Merchant Marine Academy, proudly served in the U.S Navy and was a Visiting Scholar at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health from 1997 to 2007.
Doug Hanson
Chief Engineer
Entrenched in the natural gas and liquid natural gas industry, Doug provides a wealth of knowledge and expertise to XNG’s infrastructure ensuring that all XNG systems are designed and function with the greatest safety, reliability and efficiency at all times. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy and proudly served in U.S Army Aviation before transitioning to a career in the natural gas industry.
Joeby Connell
Chief Financial Officer
Joeby leads XNG’s finance, administration, and people functions. Primarily aligning financial results and resources in support of strategic priorities to drive growth and performance. With nearly two decades of experience across finance, operations, and organizational leadership, she brings a practical, results-driven approach. Joeby holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Organizational Leadership from Southern New Hampshire University.
Daniel Smith
Vice President Natural Gas Supply
Dan leads XNG’s commodity procurement and trading team. He brings 25 years of energy industry experience including physical and financial trading, deal structure, risk management, business analytics and state and federal regulatory affairs. He is a graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, SB in Physics, Minor in Science, Technology and Society.
